We are passionate about supporting and educating families during monumental times in life where everything is changing. We provide doula services to support you during pregnancy, birth and postpartum in the Finger Lakes area and Rochester area.
About me
Hi, I am Ashley!
Growing up I always knew I wanted to work with babies. I went on to get a degree in early childhood development and have worked in the childcare field for over 10 years with infants. After becoming a certified pediatric sleep consultant in 2019 and working with many families, I realized there was so much more I could do to help parents thrive. This led me down the path of becoming a birth and postpartum doula. In 2022, I also became a certified childbirth educator. Educating and supporting families is my passion and I feel very privileged to get to do this work!
My goal as a birth doula is to inform and support parents so they feel empowered and remember birth as a positive experience. Your birth experience matters!
My goal as a postpartum doula is to make the transition of having a new baby as smooth as possible for the whole family. I would love to help as you navigate through the postpartum period. I am here to provide you emotional, informational and practical support.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, being outside and working on home projects. My beautiful, sassy daughter always keeps me striving to do more!
About Julie
Julie and I work together as a team for all things doula! She owns Healing Hands Wellness Studio in Victor. I met this wonderful woman in our birth doula training and she has already made such an amazing impact on my life. She has a wonderful spirit and always put the needs of others before her own.
After devoting many years to massage therapy and holistic body work, I have realized that the balance between good health, career, relationships and spirituality are vital.
I found a passion for working with expecting mothers and attended a birth doula training in February 2021. I then continued on to also take my postpartum doula training. I enjoy being able to guide birthing people from pregnancy through postpartum and provide a sense of calm when everything can feel so overwhelming. My goal as a doula is to help you feel empowered and support you through your birth and postpartum journey.
I also continue to grow my wellness studio in Victor. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling.
